Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TheDevelopy Ltd (“we”), the company behind the CEO platform, collects and uses personal data. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

• Contact data you give us — your email address when you request access, and anything you send us by email.
• Account data if you become a customer — name, company, billing details (payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers).
• Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics about pages visited. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
• Customer content — the data you and your agents process inside the platform. We act as a processor for this, not a controller. See the Data Processing Agreement in your contract.

Why we process it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you asked for — performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.
• To send you service and product updates — legitimate interests, or consent where required. You can opt out at any time.
• To meet accounting, tax and other legal duties — legal obligation.

Where your data lives

Platform data is hosted on Hetzner infrastructure in Helsinki, Finland (EU). It is not transferred to the United States. Where a sub-processor sits outside the UK/EEA, we rely on adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data: up to 24 months from last contact. Customer records: for the life of the contract plus 6 years, to meet UK accounting requirements. Platform content: deleted on request, or within 30 days of your account closing.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site, plus privacy-respecting analytics that do not track you across sites. We do not sell your data or run advertising cookies.
